How to reach Campus Saarbrucken

The campus of the Universität des Saarlandes is located about 5 km north-east of the center of Saarbrücken in the forest close to Dudweiler.

The conference talks will take place in building A3.3 (Aula), the auditorium of Saarland University.

Saarbrücken has its own airport (Saarbrücken-Ensheim) and is tightly connected by train or shuttle bus to the airports at Luxemburg and Frankfurt. Major railroads connect Saarbrücken every hour within Germany and frequently to Metz, Nancy or Paris. Highways lead to Mannheim/Frankfurt, Luxemburg/Trier/Köln, Strassbourg or Metz/Nancy/Paris.

    • Bus: Approx. 20 min., ca. EUR 2,--
      • Take bus towards either Dudweiler-Dudoplatz or Universität Campus
      • Get off the bus at Universität Mensa or Campus
  • From Frankfurt or Mannheim via Autobahn A6
    • Car:
      • Take exit St.Ingbert-West
      • Follow the (white) signs for Universität-Ost until you reach the campus
  • From Paris via Autobahn A4
    • Car:
      • Take exit St.Ingbert-West
      • Follow the (white) signs for Universität-Ost until you reach the campus
  • From Trier
    • Car:
      • Use Autobahn A1, A8 and A623 heading to Saarbrücken
